Discounts
Newport Residents: receive a 25% discount on their membership for their first 3 years of membership
50% discount: A person who is new to croquet receives a 50% discount for their first 12 months of membership, payments can be made month or quarterly to the end of the current calendar year, and in the following year if more than 6 months of the discount is left. Someone ‘new to croquet’ isn’t moving from another club, doesn’t have a croquet handicap and isn’t a member of ‘Croquet England’.
We’re sorry but discounts cannot be combined, new to croquet Newport residents will receive the 50% discount in their first year of membership.

Other Information:
Evening and weekend members can play at other times but will need to pay the green fee, currently £10 per day.
Members can bring up to 3 guests to the club at a time with each paying green fees of £10 per day.

50% discount information
Summary:
New members who already play croquet (they have a handicap, are a Croquet England member, are moving from or already play at another croquet club) pay the current full fee for their membership type pro-rataed to the end of the current year.
New to croquet members (who do not have a handicap, are not a Croquet England member, and are not moving from or are a member at another croquet club) receive a 50% discount for their first 12 months membership, payments can be staged to the end of the current calendar year, and in the following year if more than 6 months of the discount is left. The 2nd year membership fee is individually calculated taking into account the remaining 50% discount period.
Full detail:
Pro-rata membership fees are stated to new members based on them starting on the first day of the following month. If they pay that figure (even if it is after that date) the membership starts from that date.
If a new member qualifies for both the 50% discount and the ‘Newport Resident’ discount, a 50% discount is applied to the first 12 months of membership, the discounts cannot be combined.
