From the North

If travelling down the M11, leave at junction 10 and turn left along the A505 towards Cambridge/Newmarket.
Go straight over the first roundabout, then turn right at the second one (by the BP station), along the A1301 towards Saffron Walden.
Go straight on at three further roundabouts, then turn right at the fourth roundabout (B1383 towards Newport)

After passing through the villages of Great Chesterford and Littlebury, and going past Audley End House (on your left), you will go straight on at another roundabout and then enter Newport. Drive through the village until you see an Esso petrol station on your left, and a sign pointing to the station. Turn right opposite the petrol station, along Frambury Lane.
At the T-junction at the top of the hill, turn left. Continue past the primary school, along a rough track. This turns left into a car park; the croquet club is at the far end of this.

If travelling down the A11, leave at the exit signposted "Saffron Walden" and turn left at the roundabout. Turning right at the next roundabout puts you on the B1383 towards Newport, as above.

From the South

If travelling up the M11, leave at junction 8 and turn left along the A120 (the Bishop's Stortford bypass), towards Hertford.
Go straight on at two roundabouts, then turn right at the third one, along the B1383 towards Newport.

After passing through the villages of Stansted Mountfitchet and Quendon, you will enter Newport. Fairly soon you will see an Esso petrol station on your right. Turn left opposite this petrol station, along Frambury Lane.
At the T-junction at the top of the hill, turn left. Continue past the primary school, along a rough track. This turns left into a car park; the croquet club is at the far end of this.

By Rail

Newport is on the Cambridge-London Liverpool Street line, and the croquet club is about 5 minutes' walk from the station.

Alight at Newport, and leave the station on the side of the ticket office. Walk along Station Road, then cross over the main road and continue up Frambury Lane. At the top of the hill, turn left. Continue past the primary school, along a rough track. This turns left into a car park; the croquet club is at the far end of this.
